Before you learn some things about Dylan Penn that you didn’t know, let’s make sure you’re up to speed on the basics. Dylan Penn is an actress and model, but she’s most well known for being the daughter of actors Sean Penn and ex-wife Robin Wright (formerly Robin Wright Penn). She was born April 13, 1991 in California. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way here are somethings you probably didn’t know about her….

Robert Pattinson Dating Rumors

In September of 2013, Dylan was rumored to be dating Kristen Stewart’s ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Pictures of the two at the Chateau Mormont in West Hollywood surfaced after catching a show in The Viper Room. The rumors had the internet in a whirlwind until she shot them down with a bang. In the January 2014 issue of GQ Penn said the news of her and Pattinson dating was (expletive). I think it’s safe to say she isn’t and never was dating the Twilight star.

David Todd Model

Penn is one of David Todd’s celebrity child models. We say one because he’s worked with people like Paris Hilton in the past. Todd is appealing for famous young adults because he cultivates a close knit family team that helps nurture the young stars. She was recently announced as one of their models via social media.

College Dropout

Speaking of modeling, Penn dropped out of college to become a model. When she was young she used to tell her parents she wanted to write and direct films. She pursued that dream all the way until college. However, modeling and acting offers were too strong to refuse and Penn ended up dropping out of University of Southern California before finishing her studies in history. Perhaps she will still end up realizing her dream.

The New Face of Gap

Penn has become the face of Gap behind cohost of E!’s Fashion Police George Kotsiopoulos. She will be styled and managed the way Kostiopoulos wants her to appear in the ads which launched in January. She is featured in online, print and stores. The launch of Penn as the face of Gap behind the E! personality coincides with the launch of his new book. Coincidence? I think not.

The Vitals

Dylan is 5’7″ and has green eyes. She also looks a lot more like her mother than father (which is most-likely why she’s a model).

Brother Hopper

Dylan has a younger brother named Hopper, who appeared on MTV’s Viva La Bam with father Sean Penn as a child. Hopper is also an aspiring actor/writer/director. He got into some trouble a while back with paparazzi for screaming a racial slur earlier in 2013.

Steve McQueen Rumors

While the Robert Pattinson rumors fell flat on their face, those hoping to get a date with Dylan might have to get behind Steve McQueen. The two were caught several times enjoying each others’ company and even taking in dinner. While there’s never been actual confirmation of being official it’s pretty easy to see that the two were or are close.

Playboy Cover

Penn was offered the cover of Playboy for $150,000. The report surfaced this March, but Penn’s representatives declined to comment on the situation. If she does accept she will be shot by the same photographer as Kate Moss. With modeling not being Penn’s passion, there’s little chance she decides to appear in Playboy at anytime.

Condemned

Penn will appear in her first major role in the upcoming film ‘Condemned’. The movie is currently in pre-production and won’t be released until 2015.
